Pull to a stop light and the heater starts blowing cool air

While driving down the road the heater works fine, as I pull up to a stop the heater starts blowing "barely" warm air almost immediately. This is more noticable when the blower is on high. Any solutions?

You need a new heater relay that controls the heating and cooling It is located behind the glove box and easy to remove and install a new one 3 Phillips screws turn to left to remove Disconnect the wire clip and reverse to put it all back in I've had our car do the exact same thing 3 times It's a manufacturer part defect

Sounds like you need to either...add anti-freeze solution to your radiator...or worse case...coolant pump is starting to fail or heater coil is clogged..if coil is suspected to be clogged....do a radiator flush...reverse and foward flush the coil only...hope this helps

Heater blows cold air

Sounds like the cooling system is low on antifreeze. Have you checked to make sure it is at it's proper level?

check the heater hoses going from motor thru firewall to heater core / if they get warmer when motor is at 2000 rpms or higher then most likely problem is heater core stopped up / if the hoses dont change then thermostat could be stuck open ! good luck

Overheating and heater not work

there is a valve on the water pump and one on the thermostat housing open those up one at a time until you get a little bit of antifreeze come out then tighten them back up. All you will be doing is bleeding the air out of the cooling system. my car was doing the same thing after I changed my thermostat.
