The car is in fact 1996 corona nz new with toyota 3s engine the transmission has been out and good second hand unit fitted changed fitted new engine mount to front and drivers side( rear and leftside mounts) looked fine inspected them when trans was out fitted new cambelt and tensioners at same time as mounts i now have vibration in car do not have to be moving v will come in just bring revs up very similar to exhaust touching frame have tried ajusting engine height left side mount is slotted to allow this and this is better but still there when driving rear view mirror slighty distorted it comesand goes with revs but mildly there all the time allmost like a engine balance shaft out of time didnt use genuine mounts used aftermarket mounts engine power is real lively but am putting this down to cambelt change as timing is probably back to where it should be
If you don't have to be moving to get the vibration then it has to be either something is not balanced properly (torque converter may be bad, front pulley, engine flywheel cracked) or you have a bad mount, causing the vibration from making the engine or trans contact the car body in a place you can't see.
Hard to pinpoint without feeling it myself. I can say for sure it's not the cam belt, unless there's debris stuck to the inside of the cam gear causing the vibration.
