Pull the air bag fuse or disconnect the negative battery cable an wait a few minutes , then you can remove the air bag safely . What country are you from ? Do you have an air bag light lit on the dash as well ? Possible clock spring problem , it's located inside the steering column under the steering wheel . This clock spring allows the steering wheel to turn from right to left keeping the air bag , horn , speed control ( if you have the buttons on the steering wheel ) . Connected electrically . There is also a relay located in a fuse / relay box . Do you know what a relay is ? VEHICLE RELAYS Operation Diagnosis
Need to get it to a reputable repair shop. Have them check for fault code in restraint system. You're getting a code 15 that's telling you there's a concern with the drivers side air bag, module, wiring, or component failure. Possibly a clockspring but that's only a guess. If you were to get in an accident the bags would not deploy, when module sees a fault it shuts down the system to prevent false air bag depl
Bottom line is you can't. Due to the safety factor, I don't know of a way to turn the light off without disconnecting the entire system. When work is done on the steering wheel the fuse is removed that turns the light on. You may have to get a shop manual to find the connectors to disconnect the air bag module. The air bag module which is connected to the body computer requires a different kind of scanner than the engine computer to read it for codes.
Usually when th fluid level low light comes on, it is because the fluid is ging to the front calipers to fill the pistons that push the brake pads against the rotors. This is because the pads are worn down and probably need replacing.
As for the 3 beeps, it is not related to the brakes.
if it is 5 beeps, it is the air bag or pretensioner.
When the ignition is cycled (turned off and then on), the air bag indicator will remain lit for six seconds and then go out. If an SRS fault exists, the air bag indicator will then flash the two-digit LFC. The air bag indicator will flash the LFC five times, then it will remain illuminated for the rest of the key cycle. The RCM will also communicate the current and historical DTCs through the data link connector (DLC), using the scan tool. If the air bag indicator does not function, and the system detects a fault condition, the RCM will signal the GEM to activate an audible chime. The chime is a series of five sets of five tone bursts. If the chime is heard, the SRS and the air bag indicator require repair.
isuzu trooper 3.0 airbag light.comes on goes off and bk on again when started.. have had seats out and checked wires on reinstallation.but wont go out?
UNDER THE DASH IS A BLUE MODULE.. IN CENTER OF LOWER DASH... IT IS THE AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MODULE..... IF IT FINDS ERRORS IT WILL BEEP... DID SOMEONE RIG YOUR AIR BAG LIGHT ,,OR IS IT LIT UP... LET ME KNOW
Check the Air Bag Indicator Light. When you turn the car on it should stay on for 6 seconds and then turn itself off. If a fault is detected in the system operation check, the indicator light will either fail to light, stay on continuously or flash. The flashing may not start until up to 30 seconds after the initial systems check.
If there is a fault in the system AND the air bag indicator light fails to light then an audible tone will alert you- it will be a set of 5 chimes (bells/beeps) five times in a row.
Have the Air Bag serviced and the indicator light bulb changed. Since the dash will be off in order to change the bulb, I would have all of the other dash lights changed at the same time. If one goes out, others will surely follow.
