There are 2 screws in the change area beneath the ashtray...remove those and then carefully pull the center console out. I like to start from the rear (closer to the emergency brake). Push the whole console in towards the radio a little as you pull the rear up. It's one piece and will snap out...get that out of the way and then I think it's one screw holding the radio in.

Remove the radio...on the back is the serial number. Call Acura of Augusta - (706) 737-5200 - or a local Acura dealer BESIDES the one you went to!

1996 acura rl i need code for unlock my radio

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code. You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorized dealership. Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car.

You can verify an satisfied customer in the below link

How to retrieve the code to 1996 Acura RL radio

If you call the acura dealer, or better yet go visit and take the radio into parts, they can look up the serial number on the back and get you the code to unlock it. If you take in the whole car, they will charge you labor to pull it out.

I need help unlocking my radio on my 1998 Acura rl. RadioSer# B80134956A. REF # CM936AO, Thank A lot

Go to the Acura dealer that originally sold the car and they may have the code stored in their system. If not go here http://owners.acura.com/ and sign up and register your car. There with the VIN # and radio serial # you can get the code.
