Will a 2000 crown Victoria motor and transmission fit a 99 grand marquise with out problem will I have to change wire also or it match up

It should. I know it will physically fit, but weather the electrical controls are the same, I am not sure. If you switch the electronics off of the 99 and place them onto the 2000, you should be good. The only thing I would worry about would be the transmission. If you go to www.car-part.com and search for the part you are using. The site has a built in Hollander interchange and should list if one is compatible with the other. If it isn't listed, then there must be a difference.

We are looking at purchasing a 1999 lincoln continental and the drivers power seat will not move back or forward with the power switch. It work all other ways but back and forward. Any ideas on how to...

stay away from the front drive continental, the seat is the least of the problems on those cars. they have bad air ride suspension systems, and weak transmissions DO NOT BUY IT buy a towncar instead

Where does the transmission fluid go?

It goes in the same orfice where the transmission dipstick is located, just take out the dipstick and use a funnel that fits in the hole where the dipstick is located and with the motor running and with the Transmission in Park, fill to the full mark on the dipstick.
