This is out of my haynes manual
1 disconnect negative battery cable
2 on manual window equipped modesl remove the window crank using a hooked tool to remove the retainer clip.
3 on power window equipped models pry out the armrest switch control plate and disconnect the electrical connections
4 detach the armrest pull handle retaining screw then remove the inside door handle trim bezel
5 insert a wide putty knife, a thin screwdriver or a special trim panel removal tool between the trim panel and the head of the retaining clip to disengage the door panel retaining clips.then remove the remaining door panel retaining screws at the lower edge of the door panel.
6 once all of the clips are screws are disengage detach the trim panel disconnect any electrical connectors and remoe the trim panel from the vehicle by gently pulling it up and out.
7 for access to the inner door remove the door panel support bracket then peel back the watershield taking care not to tear it. it install the trim panel first press the watershield back into place. if necessary add more sealant to hold it in place.

SOURCE: stuck front passenger seat - wont slide back or forwards due to small screw lodged in floor runner

Be there done that, but with a penny. All you can do is either get real aggressive with a hammer and long metal object as a punch or pull the seat. The seat should have 4 bolts. One at each end of each track. Ising a 1/4 in drive rachet and either a 1/2 or 9/16 socket should work. 1/4 in drive is low profile.. good luck

SOURCE: FRONT HEATED SEATS

you need to check the resistance in each of the heated seat elements in the seat. There's a two wire connector under the back of each front seat. The connector should be green. disconnect it and measure the resistance along the circuit going into the seat. if it isnt .1 - .3 ohms, replace the appropriate heated seat element

How to remove front and rear seats 2004 S80 Volvo

The rear seat (the lower part) will pop out easily. Grab under the front edge of the seat and give it a firm tug upwards. It will pop out. Make sure you remove all the spare change before re-assembly. The upper part (the back rest) is a little more involved.

Opel vectra. My front indicators only work occasionally . Replaced the bulbs but problem still persists.

Look for a loose earth connection on the front of the vehicle. Probably a loose bolt or screw. Earth connections need to be tight or they can cause a high current draw or (in the case of flashers) a failed circuit.

I have a 1998 Holden Astra eng noEL20B24119 and want to know the Head bolt torque settings and sequence. The engine is the transition model with twin tappet cover seals. has the torx star headed bolts.

I cannot find a EL20B in my data, but all Astra listed had the same head sequence as shown:

10 6 2 3 7

9 5 1 4 8

the torque specs for the C20XE,C20NE,X20XEV were all
25nm(18lb/ft),-then 90 deg,-90deg,-90deg.
Z20LET were as above plus an additional 15deg.
Same data for smaller and larger engines(except a couple that were 45deg instead of 15)
Make sure that you replace the head bolts with new, they are torque to yield bolts that are designed to stretch to 'plastic' state, and should not be reused.
Put grease(graphite if you have it) under bolt heads and washers, oil the threads.
Usually the head sets come with the torque specs.
I hope this helps you.
