My 1997 Jimmy fuse box is numbered

Your owners manual should have this info. If no owners manual, my.gmc.com should have your owners manual. It's free to read online, should have your fuse boxes.
I only saw one fuse for your generator, it's number 4--10 amp interior fuse box, that's for your gages/instrument cluster, If other gages work, the fuse isn't the problem.
I looked at power distribution diagram, generator showed fusible links. Hopefully they are close to generator?
