Pulsar N13 instrument cluster no TRIP or OD

Hi,
I have a Nissan Pulsar 90 N13 with instrument cluster problems. I have had the cluster replaced two times. Every issue has been resolved with fuel indicator and ECM, brake light indicators coming on.
Now there is a problem with the odometer not clicking over nor does the trip meter work.
Can you help me?

The common faults with most n13 pulsar dash clusters come from the rear circuitry where theey are all running to their respective gauges . heat and time finally get to the circuits and they let go causing a very small crack in the line causing no voltage to the gauge. easy to fix with a soldering iron and lots of patience .. good luck

No he's got wrong, but he's right respectively iun certain situations, but, n13 pulsars dashes (along wth old pintara and skyliones as far as I know) have a little nylon cog inside the fascia that run you odometer that breaks, because of the high demand because a lot of them break you can buy the little cogs off ebay for a couple of dollars and if you wnat to repair it yourself go for it or you can get a professionalto open her up and re install the new one for you

Correct about cog - open instrument cluster, remove face plate and finally odometer. There will be a small round metal componant that can be removed. Inside you will almost always find a little round cog (or what used to be) and many broken teeth floating around inside.

Can I add an instrument cluster to a 2005 nissan altima with a trip computer on it to one that does not have a trip computer and make it work?

That would involve reprogramming the body control module or PCM with the proper software. Doubtful a dealer would do it

N13's are terrible for this problem, the odometer stops because of a faulty little nylon cog that has to be replaced, the tacho and gauges in n13 dashed die as well but as far as I know that's because of faulty electronics, if it was just the odometer problem you couldv'e bought the cog off ebay (and with a little mechanical knowledge) you could've taken the dash apart and re installed it yourself but because the other electronics are dying I advise you take it to a dash repairer or you can try getting out a soldeing iron and try to replace all the faulty connections yourself.

Nissan pulsar n13 fautly water temp gauge

Switch ig. on, ground the sender unit wire for about 3 seconds see if the temp. gauge moves, if so change sender unit, if not then it is a faulty gauge reader.also check instrument voltage stabilizer.

possibly the circuit board but i see it unlikely. you may have damaged a wire that works the temp guage. i have a nissan pulsar and mine works just fine.
