My Porsche 944's engine cuts off for split mili seconds when going over bumps. I also feel that the rear suspension which is brand new is and has always been very erractic and noisy over bumps, and the engine cuts off and then resumes normally, a situation that is worsening. Car handles with no issues on normal roads but has this cut off issue which now has started to occur on minor bumps even on motorways. What is the engine cut off & erractic rear suspension due to?

I'd definitely check the fuel pump, had a similiar fault with mine, all seemed ok until upon closer inspection there was a hairline facture around the inlet pipe on the pump which was drawing in air and losing the pressure in the fuel system

Rebuit engine on my 1995 944. Engine starts and runs but oil is not circulating through he engine.
Check the mounting of the fuel pump and connections in the rear. Mine got loose and jiggled the wiring causing this kind of problem.
