What all fuel injectors will interchange with a 2.5 chevy s10 1990

This might sound like it's not much help, but I've found out that many local junk yards have cross reference systems for engines,Transmissions, and many other parts. I would try one of them. However; since the "cash for clunkers" fiasco there are fewer and fewer older models to find for parts! Peace. God bless.

I have an 1998 chevy s10 automatic.this morning I noticed transmission fluid on the ground I checked and it comes out from a hose on top of the transmission but I don't see where it hook up?

From what I have read elsewhere: There is an overflow hose on top of transmission behind engine which actually is from the transfer case. Fluid will drip down onto exhaust and eventually catch on fire. Check transfer case for being overfull by taking the top fill plug out. If transmission fluid runs out, I believe the transfer case input shaft seal is shot and needs replaced. Mine caught on fire. I was lucky to get fire out before truck burnt to the ground. If you continue to drive vehicle at have something to put out a fire!!!!

I got a 1987 chevy s10 pick up truck 2 wheel drive v6 2.8l my transmission is not passing 1st gear ?do you know if the kick cable or tv cable needs to be adjusted .

Just about all you can do is, with the engine off, from under the hood open the throttle all the way and check if the TV cable is tight. And check the fluid level, smell if its burnt or look if its brown.

Other causes could be,
Sticky governor
Sticking shift valve
Worn bands

Many years ago my mom's first 4 speed automatic was a 84 S10 2.8 2wd. She did not know it was a 4 speed and the indicator was broke so she counted the clicks to find drive. She was driving in the hills in over drive and all the downshifting was too much for it (should have driven in hills in 3rd gear). After that the transmission would not shift out of second gear.

My 95 chevy s10 pickup truck stop moving after 1/2 mile, after 5 minutes, it moves again, what causes the transmission to do this?

Front transmission pump. For a Chevy S10 its located behind the torque convertor,This pump supplies the torque convertor and it service as a pressure supply system, Just because the pump is in the immediate area it does wear out and develops gaps and is unable to supply transmission fluid to the system. When the transmission warms up the fluid thins out.Sitting for 5 minutes allow the fluid to cool just enough to run again
P.sthis remind me of what happen to me I stuck on the side of the road ,half mile and took 2 hours to drive back

What weight clutch fluid do i use on a 1999 chevy s10?

Your talking about the fluid that goes into the clutch master cylinder for a manual transmission?

It is brake fluid. If you use anything else you will ruin the master, slave and hoses.

My 1993 Chevy S10 Manual transmission makes a clicking sound when I shift. I have been told that the transmission needs fluid to be added. How and where do I add transmission fluid to a manual...

You have to check under the Vehicle and locate the Fluid Check/Fill hole and plug on the Side of the transmission. Check your owners manual for the proper Fluid Type to use.

My 2000 chevy s10 pickup doesn't want to shift

Check your master and slave, If your slave is not fully depressing the pressure plate it would be very hard to shift.

Low fluid would not cause this. However there is a bolt on the side of the trans that you remove and put your finger in to check the level. If you put your pinky in and no fluid comes out it is low.

The slave often goes on the chevy's. It is internal, you have to pull the trans to replace it.

Also a pressure plate that is collapsing can cause the same problem. You are pushing all the way down, but it is not releasing.
Hope this helps.
