2000 Blazer won't start!

Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only
genuine items as replacement as non-genuine are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units. This results in the fault codes not cancelling out. check the engine immobiliser and the battery in your key

do you hear the fuel pump go on when you turn the key to the run position? do you know if you have spark? are there any codes?

Do you hear the fuel pump in the tank running for 2 seconds when key switch is turned on? What year of truck is the engine out of? Do you have the computer from the vehicle the engine came out of?

As for it cutting off i would take the mass air flow sensor off and clean it with a non-chlronated brake cleaner then let dry for 15 minutes and re-install.As for engine not cranking overmost likely its the starter solenoid that is bad.

by not turning over i`m guessing that you mean the engine won`t crank over,if you mean won`t start when the engine turns over then that is a different path of diagnosis.if you mean that it starts to turn crank over but stops almost immediately then this could be a weak battery,or bad starter with a bad spot in the starter,that`s why it will start sometimes and sometimes not as the starter hits and misses stopping on the bad spot.if you mean it cranks over fine but will not start then this could be a fuel pump going bad,a dirty throttle body,a bad crank of cam sensor,these usually set a code in the computer and sometimes turns on the check engine light sometimes not.you should have the computer checked for codes to see if there is any,or just a wiring problem for the ignition system

Check And Clean Your Battery Cables Really Good. Make Sure You Cut Some Of The Insulation Back From The Terminal To Make Sure The Cable Is Not Corodid Further Down.

The plug on the fuel pumps are common for being bad and burning up the pumps. But the new pump will come with a new plug.

You can check the manual that came with the Remote starter.
If you do not have one try look it up on line.
You can try call the people that install that kind of remote starter.
Some started do a lot more than start your car and the only way to know is to look at the manual.
You are trying to find out if it is has a ignition kill command.
