92 Sierra wont start after sitting over night. It will turnover and almost catch but not all the way. After boosting or charging battery it will usually start. What's up?

Sounds like you need a new battery, but just in case take the battery to a place like Autozone or another car part place and get them to test it. It's usually free to test.

My car wont start sometime, my motor does turnover but it wont fire. it seems like its my gas pump

Try cleaning the throttle plate, where the flapper is. Carbon buildup where it closes. Air entering engine after the mass air flow meter will keep from starting easy. Computer doesn't like air it doesn't know about.

Engine wont turnover

If what you're trying to say is that the engine will start when you turn your ignition key to the 'start' position but then quits as soon as you allow the key to revert to the 'run' position, that's exactly how our 2000 Caravan is sometimes acting this winter (earlier, in warmer weather, the symptom was that the starter sometimes would not run in the 'start' position).

I'm still researching possibilities (since the van, while worrisome, still always eventually runs), but my current suspected culprit is deterioration of the contacts in the ignition switch (you can find references to this kind of intermittent switch behavior in Web searches, which is how I happened upon your question). I'll try to get back here later to say how things worked out for us and with more detail on how to replace the electrical portion of the switch if that's indeed the problem.

Lights came on when car off. battery dies

I had a similar problem only my car would stay running after I turned it off. It also had a problem starting. if I turned the key just right it would start, otherwise it would not turnover. turned out to be the solenoid switch in my 1999 4runner.

2002 jaguar x type wont start, lights, radio, air have power. clicking sound when turning the key to start the engine. Engine light stays, no engine turnover

Hi .
unlikely to be immobiliser fault ,so check basics, try a set of jump leads or check battery voltage above 12.5,if the clicking is coming from the starter motor with a fully charged battery then suspect starter motor failure.
