Ive changed the plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, fuel filter, crankshaft position sensor. I can be driving down the road and it just shuts off, sometimes it start right back up, sometimes it takes it hours before it will start back up, Im totaly lost as to what the problem may be, If anyone knows what my problem may be, Please help me out! Thanks!
Quite possible you have a bad ignition coil. As coil heats up it breaks down and will not return to normal till it cools down. Check for spark the next time this happens. If spark is weak or not there, it warrants testing or replacement.
Is there a control unit next to the coil on the same mount bar? It can go bad...there is a special scanner for testing it...perhaps some of the larger parts stores that offer free scans also have it?
Most large parts houses offer free scan service. Try having them pull codes...maybe there's something there that will give you an idea. You never said...Is there spark when in no start? Also, there is a possibiity that there is a malfunction in the security system that's shutting it off. Did you check all systems for good solid grounding? (including fenders, dash and firewall) Have you checked cam sensor?
Good to see it's running...hope it stays that way...Some steam is normal on start up, but should clear up. If not it could be a problem, but if you had no overheating or coolant loss problems I would not be too worried right now. Let it run for a half hour or so and see if it continues after that.
cleaner won't do that.
I know I don't get paid for this but do I get any little fig newtons? (Rating)

I have a 1996 jeep grand also having the same problem. i was under the hood as it was running and meesing with any wire i could find and found that when i would press on wiring harnesses that hook up to the computer it would die or run very bad spitting and sputter .so talked to lots of people and mech. and changed everything else everybody told me the only thing left was computer mounted on the fire wall. so just changed it so far running lots better .I'm TX so i went to o'riellys got a computer for 196.00 and a lifetime waranty.so try starting the jeep up press on computer hook ups see if it dies or runs bad then that will tell you if it is the computer.everything i have read and heard is the 96 97 jeep grands is there main problem is computer. you have to be careful the only computers u can get for them is rebuilt but some you get you have to put on and carry to dealer to put codes in . the one i got from o'riellys already had the right codes in it so you unhook it and un bolt it and bolt the new one up and hook it up and go on with your life for about 200.00.

Oooops, My Bad, Forgot to post that I have also already replaced the ignition coil. Thanks for your help though.
No, theres no control unit next to the coil, the only thing close is the distributor.
Today I took the new coil back and exchanged it, then I also took some electronic connection cleaner spray and unhooked and cleaned all connections under the hood, including the connections at the computer, Since then I have started the Jeep about 30 times with no problem at all, And have drove it about 5 miles with no problems. I have noticed a lot of condensation coming out of the tailpipe, and also like a very fine mist of white smoke, like a fog smoke coming out of the tailpipe and a gas smell, I dont know if the condensation and fog like smoke is because of it being very foggy the past couple of morning. If this has solved my problem then I will come back and post to let you know, if not then I will be back and let you know. Please let me know what you think about the condensation and fog like smoke. And Just want to tell you Thank You Very Much for all of your help!
Also there is Lucas Injector cleaner in the gas
So far so good! Let it run for 30 minutes and the condensation and foggy smoke look and the gas smell have disappeared! Jeep purred like a kitten, turned it off and restarted it with no problem. Once again Thanks for your help!
