Sounds to me like you have a bad ground connection, check your battery ground and your body ground. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1996 Saturn SL2 - No response from starter - over

It would be hard to guess but a simple diagnostic would be to use a 12v test light and see if the starter solenoid recieves a 12 v signal while turning the key. If it lights, the starter should turn over. This also gives you the oportunity to check and verify all electrical connections at the starter including the large orange fusible link wire at the large battery terminal.

SOURCE: car wont start just makes a clicking noise

need to check the battery voltage good battery out of the car should measure 12.50 volts when cranking it doesnt like about 9.5 volts so if it drops to that level try a new battery if all ok make sure the red coloured pwr lead to the larg post on the starter is tight if not disconnect battery first to tighten but take care as they like to snap off so be carefullstill no go and your getting pwr at the starter give the starter a few LIGHT taps with a hammer and see how you go if it fires up change the starter and recharge the battery

Saturn 2002 Sl100 it wont start attery good wont crank over or make a sound lights come on replaced fuses and still nothing

Have the alternator tested and the starter but first make sure the starter ground wire is not unhooked and you did not say where you checked the fuses there is a master fuse box under the hood and the one inside the vehicle hope this helps

02 Escalade will not start

It will most likely be a poor earth issue, make sure the earth lead between the battery and the body is good and clean and check the one between the body and motor.
Poor earth connections cause excessive current draw and will blow fuses.

2002 dodge intrepid clicks and wont start

it is not uncommon for a failing starter to make a click noise, but check other things before jumping into that, clean the battery terminals, have the battery tested, make sure you are getting power to the starter and have a good ground.

Car won't start without being charged and when it sits overnight it wont start. makes a clicking noise when trying to start it

Battery is to weak & not holding charge. If the battery does not have enough power the starter will make a fast clicking sound or you will just hear one click.

Wont start , checked battery and its good. Before the problem it turned hard , altinator reley clicks no turn of engine . Is it the starter ?

Just because the battery says 12 volts doesn't mean its good,, It need the right amount of amps to crank the vehicle, while 12 volts will give the impression that your battery is good. will it jump start? if so you have a bad battery ,, One cell could be enough to drop the amps you need, I've seen new batteries do the same thing, Have it LOAD checked, to make sure that the battery will preform as needed with the correct amps.

SANTA FE 2002 BATTERY IS GOOD TURN KEY TO START POSITION MAKES ONE CLICK SOUND UNDERNEATH THE R/H DASH AREA THEN NOTHING ENGINE WILL NOT TURN OVER

Check for a good/clean connection on your battery terminals.Make sure it's on good & tight, then try to start the car - if that's not it. Get a jump, then go to Auto Zone, O'Reilley's, etc and get the battery & the starter checked. I'm betting it's either a poor connection, bad battery or your starter is going out (or possibly the starter relay switch) Start with your connections - that's the easy fix.

My 2002 alero makes a click click sound when in the ON Position & will not start

Check for a good/clean connection on your battery terminals. If they have crud on them, disconnect the terminals & clean everything off with a wire brush & if possible, you can use some baking soda or even a Coke to help get the crud off. Rinse everything off & let it dry a bit (check the water level in the battery too - if the cells dry out, that'll kill it). Hook the connections back up good & tight. Then try to start the car - if that's not it. Get a jump, then go to Auto Zone, O'Reilley's, etc and get the battery & the starter checked. I'm betting it's either a poor connection, bad battery or your starter is going out. Start with your connections - that's the easy fix. Good Luck.

While trying to start my 2002 jeep liberty limited edition 2wd 3.7l engine I only get a click, after any number of clicks it finally starts.

It sounds like you need a new battery. If it's a 2002, then it's probably on it's second battery already and due for a new one. The clicking is the starter solenoid trying to engage the starter with the flywheel. If the battery can't supply enough "cold cranking amps" or "power", then it makes that clicking noise.
