2002 Saturn L makes clicking sound but wont start I've already replaced starter and the battery is good

It would be hard to guess but a simple diagnostic would be to use a 12v test light and see if the starter solenoid recieves a 12 v signal while turning the key. If it lights, the starter should turn over. This also gives you the oportunity to check and verify all electrical connections at the starter including the large orange fusible link wire at the large battery terminal.

need to check the battery voltage good battery out of the car should measure 12.50 volts when cranking it doesnt like about 9.5 volts so if it drops to that level try a new battery if all ok make sure the red coloured pwr lead to the larg post on the starter is tight if not disconnect battery first to tighten but take care as they like to snap off so be carefullstill no go and your getting pwr at the starter give the starter a few LIGHT taps with a hammer and see how you go if it fires up change the starter and recharge the battery
