The 6 disc cd player's cartridge is stuck in the cd players housing. It plays fine, it just wont eject all the way. It pops out a tiny little bit. like a 16th of an inch, then I push it right back in and it clicks and works just fine. But it wont pop out more than a tiny 16th of a click.

Had a Hyundai like that 27 years ago. Until I took it totally apart and re-assembled it myself. 2 years ago bought a Piaggio 45 cc motorbike, same story. Took that apart one night and put it together as should be.

Hi, the clicking noise means that the player is most likely either jammed, or damaged so that some part of the player is holding the disk back and cannot accept any cd. The clicking noise is the sound of the motor skipping. You need to remove the player from the car, open it up to see if it is jammed and check out the motor and replace it if you are technivally inclined to do it or else let the proper tech fix it...

You might try flipping the adapter over the other way. If that doesn't work, you might want to try putting a cleaning tape in and clean the cassette heads. The tape player will sometimes eject a tape if it cannot read it very well. It assumes that the tape is damaged. Dirt on your heads can cause it to eject your adapter because it is having trouble reading the signal from the adapter.
