4 - 3 - 2 - 1 for the spark plug wire routing of a 1997 Honda
If you need more information on how to replace the spark plug wires on your Honda Accord, you can check out this video tutorial from 1A Auto. It provides step-by-step instructions for properly replacing the spark plug wires on a 1995 Honda Accord V6 2.7L, but the procedure is similar for all 95-97 Honda Accord V6 2.7L models.
I would start by getting spark plugs and spark plug wires. And find out (through part store)what the gap is for your plugs. Then i would replace the cap and rotor and check your air filter. If you have over 60,000 miles i would also change the trans.filter and fluid
Spark plugs Spark plug wires Distributer cap Rotor (if applicable) Air Filter ?
A heavier weight oil can reduce fuel economy. But the brand of oil will not. The difference would most likely not be noticed though as it will be minute. The higher octane gas burns at a different rate and should not be used. Your vehicle wants the 87 octane fuel and you should use it. There is no advantage of buying the high test in this vehicle. It only costs you more. The biggest factor you can control is the way you drive. Aggressive acceleration and braking will be one of the biggest economy reducers you will notice on a properly running vehicle.
possibly could you spark plug wires or distributor faulting you will need a mechanic or a manual to adjust the distributor or just get new spark plug wires
Spark plugs and wires, coolant flush, transmission fluid, check the brakes, check belts, oil change, check coolant hoses, check air filter and cabin air filter
Yes, I always do the same thing when I buy a new vehicle that way I keep track of it and know exactly when it was done. first buy a new air filter, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, and maybe plug wires. check all belts and hoses. and change oil and filter. these things will pay for themselves. have fun. Wow a 91' with only 60,000 miles that's amazing. I've got 178,000 on my 93' accord lx and it's still running perfect!!
