    1. I do not know where the power port is located.

    2. I do not own a battery box to plug into the lighter.

But before I go to purchase a battery box to try and gain access, I was searching for

other alternatine ways to open trunk.

can you fold the rear seat down and get into the trunk and pull the trunk release handle?

power port is also known as the cigarette lighter. some cars no longer have a cig lighter, so manufacturers call it a power port.

have you tried plugging in a battery box (jumper box) into the lighter or power port of the car to see if it has enough power to pop the trunk when you press the button?

Posotive can be found in hood driver side next to fuse box. It is a small rectangle box. You can hook negative to any solid ground on the car.

Insert the key blade key in the trunk and slightly turn it to the left (approximately to the 10:00 position) you will feel the release, push the trunk release button and viola! your trunk is open! :)

Mercedes benz 2005 c-2320 coupe trunk will not unlatch

Has to go on a scanner to see what isn't working. The control module could be receiving the signal. This could be the controller or a bad wire. No communications between computers. Even doors have computers in them.

Dead battery in locked trunk (Mercedes 1990)

Many People don't know exactly how to use the manual key attached to your remote to open the doors and trunk in case the battery is dead. All you have to do is slide the locking button in the back of your remote and pull the metal pre-cut key, then insert it in the trunk lock, turn key to the left and then push in. kawaboongha!!!

82 benz trunk wont open dead baterry

If you use the key to lock all the doors, the trunk locks also, so if you have a dead battery, you probably don't have vaccuum to open the locks, because all the locks are vaccuum activated. Charge or change the battery and start it up, after a few minutes you should be able to activate the door locks, thus unlocking your trunk.

Good luck...

My mercedes clk battery dead i cant open trunk

On the side of the smart key there is a mechanical key that slides out of one of the sides-There should be a little release lever retaining the mechanical key. It can be inserted into the trunk lock and turned to open the trunk. There are several other positions the key can be turned to place the trunk lock actuation in different modes- it should be in your owner's manual Hopefully I have been helpful

Mercedes-Benz 230clk coupe 1998 with dead battery

I had same problem with my 2002 CLK430. Dead battery with car locked. You can't open doors with the mechanical key (inside remote key), as windows need power to slide down slightly to allow clearance, so you can't access the hood release. The answer is to insert the mechanical key in the key hole for the trunk (boot). It will only go in one way, with the slightly larger grip part down. I found it easiest to turn with a pair of flat nosed pliers. Turn counterclockwise to the left to to the 11 o'clock position. Then push the release in and the trunk will open. Battery is located in the right rear quarter under the flooring panel that also covers spare tire. Hook up charger or jumper cables and power will come back on, as will alarm. To disable, just push the unlock button on the remote key. You should be good to go from here!
