Rear Passenger Window Problem

The Passenger side rear window won't work. The motor is good but there is a loose wire that is disconnected from the system I am having trouble figuring out how to and where to reconnect it. The cable doesn't seem broken I just cant figure it out and couldn't find any videos with similar issues. Can you help?

SOURCE: driver window will roll down but the passenger and rear wont

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.

SOURCE: 1989 Buick Century passenger side rear window will

I would see if the haynes manual or chiltons manual has specs for the driver (main )switch so you can test ressistance. Sometimes when they go bad they can show up in one door, also verify voltage to the side rear window switch, as well as ground , the wire colors and location should be in the manual also, if everything checks out there start leaning toward the motor ,in that case you need to trace wire colors as well as schematics (manual), and bypass the switch to the motor directly this should identify yor culprit. hope this helps chris

SOURCE: no power to the passenger rear window

I assume you've tried with the driver's door switch and the rear passenger switch and nothing happens. If so, then it's unlikely that both switches went bad and it points to a bad motor...
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. You can test the switches at this point to see if they work. If not, you can then pull off the weather seal and access the regulator, motor inside the door that will be held in by several bolts

The rear windows on my '04 Saturn Ion won't open from any of the controls.

Rear Passenger Power Window Operation
The rear passenger power window switches receive battery voltage through the window lockout control circuit if the window lockout function is disabled. Ground for the rear passenger power window motors is supplied through normally closed up and down contacts of both the rear passenger power window switches and the driver power window switch. When the either rear passenger power window switch is placed in the down position, the power window motor down control circuit is switched to 12 volts and is applied to the down side of the rear passenger power window motor. Since the other side of the rear passenger power motor is connected to ground through the normally closed up contacts of both the rear passenger and driver power window switches, the window travels down. By placing the rear passenger power window switch in the up position, the polarity of the power window motor is reversed and the window travels up.
The rear passenger power windows can also be controlled from the driver power window switch.

Did you try pushing the lock out switch on the drivers master switch ?

2004 gmc envoy window won't go up rear wiper obstruction

I know this question is old, but I am responding so others with the same problem can see. I wired the Rear Window Motor Park Signal wire and the Rear Window Motor Speed Signal wire together and it completely bypassed the rear wiper motor. Now the window goes up and down. This doesn't fix the rear wiper motor, but you will be able to have access to it now that the window is out of the way

I made and album to show.

Rear windows won't go down

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

Driver's side window will not work. Door locks work.

My mechanic took out the panel on the driver side control because my right rear passenger window would not work after disconnecting the battery (but the control on the passenger rear door works) and when he put it back, it worked..it's possible it's just a loose wiring connection. My car is a 2006 Lexus RX330 with 58K miles on it.
