Sound like an air / vacuum leak to me.
Re-check for an air leak on #2 cylinder inlet manifold.
Use a propane torch (unlit, of course) to flood propane gas around inlet manifold/head flange & gasket area.
If there is any change in idle speed during this test you have a vacuum leak.

I had the same issue on my '86 Bronco. Change the ECM(computer) and your problem will go away.

did you check the injector pulse on that cylinder and it also could be the pcm , i had a taurus and a sable with good coils stop firing 2 cylinders and it was the pcm ,the code it gave was secondary coil but changed the pcm and it worked fine

Also replaced coil pack.
Replace the starter solenoid near the battery, the red battery calve is is hooked to it and then replace the distributor pickup and TFI ignition module would most likely fix the problems
Have you checked the fuel pressure? The test port is on the top of the engine and looks like a tire valve, borrow the test gauge from Autozone. It should be 42-46 PSI on the gauge.
We've replaced the starter solenoid, thats what I meant to say instead of starter coil (whoops).... we didn't check the fuel pressure with a gauge, but there is fuel pressure. It sprayed up when we were messing with it while trying to start her up.
The distributor pickup/TFI ignition module.... I'm googling them as we speak, but are those easy replacements?.....Easy to find?
I would suggest you replace the distributor pick up coil and the TFI ignition coil.
Ok, thank you!
Also the Ignition Module.
