Battery light wash flashing.car then died while driving

abs light on means no abs
but you don't need it to stop
one or more of the wheel sensors are bad

be looking at neutral safety switch..clutch pedal switch..blown fuses ..bad fuseable links..dead battery .. lose connections..bad solenoid..

Sounds like you have a dead battery. Try recharging the battery or get someone with jumper cables to give you a jump. If your battery dies again after driving for at least an hour you likely need a new battery. If the battery in the car is the original, it's time to replace it anyway.

Check battery connections if they are good have dealer to check the crank switch that is on the brake pedal. You have to press the brake for the car to crank and if the crank switch is faulty this will happen. Exact same thing happened to a co worker on a 2010 Altima. Everything worked except when she tried to crank the car the lights would go out.

have alternator checked if battery is good. make sure battery has a good charge on it.con check cables meke sure they are tigth- no corrosion . grounds are good. sounds like alternetor.....

if you wore the brake pads too far down and the light is why you had the brakes inspected and replaced then the sensor on the caliper has been worn thru. You will need to replace the part. The light should go of as soon as the tire spins and sees the parts are good.

Hi, Same problem - with my Hyundai Getz. Thought I'd pummelled the horn too much. However, I'm told that it might be the alternator. Battery completely died and couldn't be charged - AA man cleaned around the alternator ready for new battery, which seemed to work - advised to get new alternator. Didn't! Battery died again few weeks later, but still some power so that I can jump start the car - all lights on! ABS, airbag, brake - you name it! Also, car is brakig itself when driving - this only occurs when all lights are on. Lights eventually go off, and car resumes back to normal driving again - no more bunny hoping a it brakes, and no more smell of rubber. Have read that low power can be a problem for airbag light, and so checking battery, and alternator is a must. My alternator is now being ordered. Hope this helps. i have seen on more than one occasion the new ALT going bad after about a week or so you may want to check your charging system again and see if you can warr out the alt if it is bad
