2003 cadillac deville pcv valve location?

I don't think there is an "old-style" PCV valve on the 2003 Deville, instead, it was 'replaced" by an orifice that is pressed into the cam cover fitting. I think the PCV system came under the EPA's OBD mandate as an emission device that needs to be monitored by onboard systems, and so the "old-style" PCV valve was replaced by a simple orifice (removing one more possible failure point). The onboard system monitors the flow and operation of the PCV system, so if something goes wrong, it will set an error code and turn on the check engine light - even if you just have a cracked or disconnected PCV hose.

I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 , I'm having a problem locating the pcv valve. I was told it was on the valve cover near the fire wall. Is it located near the throttle body? i have to take off the intake to change the plugs so I'm sure I will find it then. Just thought I would ask someone that has pervious experience. Thanks for anyone's input.

its not called a air switching valve im sure it has a name like pcv valve oxygen sensor with out the correct name and code its throwing im unable to help sorry

your starter is under the intake manifold. Before replacing starter, recommend you read my post at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5973094-starter_replace and let me know if you have questions.

it is the small hose plugging into the top of one of the valve covers pull the hose itll have it inside the hose.

So, when looking at the engine from above, on the right of the exhaust.
Procedure to replace it
1) Lift and support the front end of your car, or drive up on ramps
2) Get under the front of your car. The PCV Valve is located behind the exhaust manifold, a few inches below the valve cover.
3) Push up on the PCV valve to pop it out of the tube, or pull. You can get it out of the rubber tube with some effort.
4) Remove the rubber elbow from the top of the PCV valve. This can be re-used if it's not squishy. It can also be replaced cheaply.
5) Put the elbow on the new PCV Valve
6) Re-attach the elbow to the PCV tube
7) Push the new PCV valve back down into the large rubber tube

there really isn't one like the ones we know from other models on the front bank front part of the valve cover a tube goes into a grommet that is the valve.

Most common location is mounted to the valve cover gasket. It will have a hose coming from it going to your breather pan and connected to the breather element inside the pan where the air filter is.

4.6 pcv is in the rear of the valve cover

okay i'm not 100% sure but it should be on top of the vavle cover or near the intake
