Serpentine belt i replaced my own serpentine belt and still i hear a wheel that the belt goes around. what is that wheel called and should i replace it. it doesnt sound like it did before i replaced the belt but like the wheel is loose.

How many belts on this vehicle? I saw one diagram that appeared to show three belts. What is liter size of engine?
Some of the wheels/pulleys your talking about may be replaceable? Do you have the right belt/s, is the belt/s wore out?

No idea just get the new belt and play with it it will come to you in the end ,remember that the belt goes right around the alternator not just around the edge if you understand my drift

1. Empty the radiator
2. disconnect top and lower hoses on the radiator.
3. remove plastic cowling, (should be an upper and lower half with two bolts on each side. There may be an upper plastic cowling as well that will have to be removed.
4. sometimes you can work around the fan, if not remove the fan belt and fan. Make a drawing of how the serpentine belt goes on if it has a serpentine belt. There should be a tension wheel on the belt used for removal and installation of the belt. Be very carefull of your fingers when removing and installing the belt.
5. Remove the four or six bolts that hold the radiator on and lift the radiator out. It may be easier with two people to lift the radiator out.
GOOD LUCK, IT'S NOT A VERY HARD JOB AND ONCE YOU'VE DONE IT ONCE IT GOES PRETTY FAST.

i think its to old to have sensors on the rear brakes, but if you look at the hubs on the axle side and see wires coming out then yes you have a sensor, the serpintine belt has a wheel that doesnt run anything ( like the altenator or water pump) you put a socket or wrench on the bolt of that wheel and u can relieve the tension that way and replace the belt. im in little chute and can stop by and show you if u need help

Sounds like a power steering issue. Or possible a serpentine belt needs to be replaced.

Hi, first, keep this diagram around as you will need it to route the serpentine belt when you reinstall it. There may also be a diagram under the hood by the radiator.

On the bracket that attaches the motor mount to engine, the lowest nut and stud must be removed (can reach by removing wheel and from bottom). Then remove spacer (that goes around stud), install belt then reinstall spacer, stud and nut.
