The horn on my 2006 sebring is going out. Is this a major fix?

Is the horn replacement a kajor fiz on a Chrysler Sebring 2006.

2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. Start car, horn goes off, lasts about 1 minute and then turns off (unless I get the fuse pulled quicker). Have replaced all the cheap components like relays, etc. Have seen elsewhere hwere others have same problem and said the "horn pad" is bad resulting in a short. Chrysler being the ever creative geniuses that they are had the horn pad part of the steering wheel airbag assembly. My guess is that it will run about $1000 - $1200 to fix.

It is located behind the right headlight assembly, remove that, one mounting bolt, and wiring harness, and it's out.

My horn does not work at all in my 2006 chrysler sebring and my inside lihgts also does not work

If your horn is not working and your inside light is not working either your fuse has been removed. (Located on the left side of the steering wheel) pull back the plastic handle and use the chart there to see if the fuses are all in the correct spots. If this is not the case you may have to have the fuse replaced. Lastly there could be and issue with your horn assembly which is easily fixed and the dome light could be a seperate problem.
