My 2002 nissan maxima GLE hazard ans turn signal does not work. I changed the flasher switch and the hazard warning lights work but the turn signal light still does not work. what could be the problem.

please check your flasher relay. it is normally a three prong relay box.

The flashers are timed thru the hazzard switch. The hazzard switchneeds replaced. As for your other problems, has to be a body control module. The dealer will need to program this peice, as it holds the miles.

Yes...Whatever you want to call them, there are two flasher units. Depending upon year, the 4way is usually on the fuse panel, the turn flasher may also be there, or up under dash on driver side, or, on newer vehicles there is a combination flasher module usually located on the right side under dash near the steering column.

Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.

Found it!! - It is indeed under the dash, directly above the clutch pedal arm and attached to the brake support bracket. The original one was black and NOT round. It's about 1.5 inches long and 1 inch square. The three wires drop down out of the bottom and there is a connector release you have to push to release the wires. The flasher relay itself can slide off the mounting point, with a little extra pressure, pushing towards the left side (outward) of the truck. (left hand drive models).
