You may need a mechanic for this.
In most cases the radiator fan is not pulling enough air thru the condenser when you are not moving. Either the fan is not running or there is a blockage.

SOURCE: Mercedes Benz C180 Fault Message Brake Assist.Visit Workshop BAS

Hi there

BAS is the Brake Assist System and if there is a malfunction it would only come into play in an Emergency stop while applying full pressure. BAS applies full braking force because people tend to lighten up their pressure on the pedal in these situations. I would suggest that the best thing to do is go to a Workshop or Service Center and have it checked out. Please remember to put a good rating on my profile.

Kind regards
Dustin Ellse

SOURCE: please help me with my air conditioning for my 1995 jetta

HI, giving the compressor 12v directly is not the way to go as you are bypassing the entire fail safe cercuit. it seem to me that your ac gas is low(can be checked via ac pressure gauges) wich means you have a system leak sumwhere. as soon as your hi/low pressure switch(depending on system) detect inferior pressure to the spesified pressure ,the ac compressor voltage is cut in order to protect the pump from seizure.

Or perhaps your evaporator(small radiator like unit behind dash) can get freezed up caused by either too mutch system gas(check pressure) or poor opperation of the expantion valve. the evaporator then has a sensor(themometer) wich measures evap. temp and if the value drops below spec (usially round about7degrees) the ac compressor will be cut once again(fail safe)

Maybe your ac compressor overheats due to inferior system oil/oil capasity, also note that only some systems incorperate the function of measuring ac pump temp. then again temp to high= fail safe=no12v to ac pump.

Good luck.

SOURCE: AC blowing warm air

When they refilled the refrigerant did they put die in it to check for leaks, it sounds like there may be a leak.

Air Condition blowing WARM air on 2000 Mercedes E430

Yes, It has to be done by weight. Now you need to take it to a vehicle AC place, have the refrigerant sucked out of it onto a recovery machine that also creates a vacuum and the correct amount of gas added by weight. They use subtractive scales to weigh the gas cylinder. It also has to be the right type of gas.

Probably in the heater controls they are not moving far enough to block the warm air from the heater radiator check if the controls are moving all the way and are not moving back slightly when turned to cold.

My 2000 Mercedes been is stuck in park. The car starts up and radio and all come on but the gear shift will not move out of park

Your brake light switch is not working properly, preventing the interlock from releasing the shift lever. I'm linking a YouTube video showing how to release the lock manually. The person who did this video dismantles the console to show where the lock is located, but you don't have to do this if you follow the initial guidance on where to aim the tool to depress the button.

Air condition blows out warm air

The AC compressor automatically engages when you have your car in the defrost setting regardless of what the temperature setting is, it removes moisture from the air that's coming out to keep your windows from fogging up.
