Reversing lights don't work.

the info i have is does not have a seperate fuse its controlled by a multifunction unit if it was me i would be checking the reverse switch on the gearbox if the bulbs/hoders connections are ok

well im no auto electrician , but on most of the cars i have owned , on the manual gear box they had a switch which activated reversing lights , when reverse selected , dont know about an automatic transmission ,maybe if you had a look on the gear box for a switch , means getting under car though..

There is a switch located inside your gear selector or on the transmission that activates the lights. Sounds like it has gone bad.

probe the wire for power,(when in reverse) if no power is present at the fuse check the reversing switch ( on the gearbox)

The gear lever engage the switch remove console around lever to get to switch. Ensure fuses are OK and bulbs is OK before go to removing console. Enjou from Willem SA

There is a switch attached to the gearbox which activates the reversing lamps when you place the gearbox into reverse. This switch has two wires going to it, one wire is an ignition live feed and the other is the feed to the rear lamps. This switch is usually on the side of the gearbox but quite high up towards the top of the gearbox. You can remove this switch with no danger of losing gearbox oil and replace it. Using a test lamp (which you can buy from any auto parts store), connect the end with the clip to the body on a clean area to ensure a good electrical connection and the pointy end to each of the wires on the switch in turn. With the ignition on but the engine NOT RUNNING, one wire should be active and the other will become active when the gearbox is placed in reverse gear. If neither of the wires are active, check fuses etc. If one wire is active but the other does not become active when reverse is selected, replace the switch. If both wires do what they are supposed too, check the wiring from the switch back to the rear lamps and check for broken or disconnected wires. The switch can be accessed from underneath the vehicle. Remember that these tests are conducted with the ignition turned on but THE ENGINE NOT RUNNING....

The reversing light switch is located on the gearbox.That is your problem change that the you will find everthing working fine.If not check the fuse.

HAVE YOU TRIED FUSE OR CHECKED IF REVERSE LIGHT SWITCH IS OK?

There should be 2 fuse boxes, one on the side of the dash, or under it, the other one under hood. If the fuses are good, It might be the back up light switch on the side of the tranny.

Could be the reverse light switch itself, usually mounted on the gearbox with 2 wires coming from it. If you had a multimeter (set to resistance / ohms) you could check that the switch changes from open to closed by disconnecting the plug on those wires and putting the multimeter across the two terminals. The resistance will be very low with the gear lever in reverse, and very high/open circuit with it not in reverse. Also check that there is battery voltage to one of the terminals.
