Its starts up good, when putting it in gear or when coming to a stop the rpm drops to where it wants to cut off. after putting it back in park after about 5 seconds the rpm will go back up to where it suppose to be.

I work in a transmission and torque converter remanufacturing plant and have seen this many times! I hate to tell you that your transmission is shot! There is metal in the fluid and some of it got caught in a solenoid not letting fluid through to shift the gears. You will need a rebuild! About $2500 dollars.
