I have a 1989 Mercedes 300E which has had about 15 owners, Over time the Ignition was replaced, I know this cause I ordered the Master Key from Mercedes... Anyway, I have started Wiring the new ignition (universal) and mounting it, the wiring goes: 12V Constant - Red Starter Wire - Purple 12V Iginition Wire - Pink/Red Accessory Wire - Pink/Yellow 2nd Accessory Wire - Pink/Green --Heres the thing, I have 7 wires coming from the Ignition Harness... 2 Red Wires 1 Purple 1 Pink/Red 1 Pink/Yellow 1 Pink/Green 1 Green/White Now I know Purple goes to ST, Pink/Yellow and Pink/Green go to ACC, Pink/Red goes to IGN... but do I wire the two Reds together on Batt... and then what is Green/White for??

This is not a question on starting, it's a question on how to wire the new ignition.... I have 2 Red wires, do they go together on the switch? And what is the smaller gauge green and white wire to?
