SOURCE: ABS and anti skid tracking control lights stay on in my BMW 523i

Unfortunately there are several possibilities that are common to causing the light to come on. I would suggest taking the car in to a dealer and having them read out the fault memory. Such possibilities are a failed speed sensor, a binding DSC/ACS actuator cable, or faulty DCS/ASC control unit. If you know how, you can disconnect the speed sensors, and check for voltage output across the the terminals inside the connector going to the speed sensor while rotating the wheel. A dealer should charge you about an 1hour fee to check out your system. Due to the cost of parts involved, I would recommend having it checked before just guessing.

SOURCE: 1994 BMW 318i Fuse Box layout

the fuses u are looking for are as follows:
From the top left first row its# 4
then the bottom row its # 19
I also wanted to point out. from 1989 to 1996 the brake switch was the common failure for bmw's
the series it included were 318i, 525-540i, and all 7 series. if the fuses dont fix it.. its the switch
located under a panel u need remove on the drivers side on the steering collum

SOURCE: BMW abs light and speedometer not working

I would replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) at the transmission 1st, also who advised the PCM (computer) was bad? a Jag dealer? I think they are guessing on that, computers rarely fail, maybe 2% of the time if that.

SOURCE: bmw 520i 1999 abs/asc lights on diagnostic

Check to see if your brake pads and rotors are in good condition. Or if you have replaced the pads yourself and have not reset the wheel sensors this would cause the ABS Antilock Brake System light and the ASC Automatic Stability Control light to stay on as the ASC uses the ABS brakes with computer assistance to control the car

After jump starting 2006 Z4 BMW headlight low beams don't work checked fuses in glove compartment and under hood all seemed to be ok is there a relay, what do i do now

If the lights are switched then the switch controls a rely all lights are switched on bmw. Can use fog lights temporarily. Find rely test with continuity meter when on, disconnect lights first, then turn on lights switch, check for 12v at light bulb terms, if 12v then bulbs bad, if not relay is bad, test with continuity meter, rely should read 0 ohms when lights switched on, infinite open circuit when switched off. If lights work in manual switch pos then solar sensor bad.

I need to know witch fuse is for the interier lights

it would be one of the (acc)fuses below the steering column close to the door.(depending on your model not all the acc fuse slots are used in all models) if your talking about the dash/panel lights, they're all controlled by your headlight switch

Door is closd wont open need to remove panel. 1989 BMW 525I.

that's a tough one and I have been there-I ended up removing the seat so I could have enough room to get the panel off without damaging the panel and it was not easy (1990 535)-you can move the seat forward and back to acces the bolts, and having someone to help pull it out makes a difference.

91 bmw 325I

Hi there. It sounds like the car has a short between the II and I position. Something like the ACC and START positions in domestic and imports. And it all happened when replacing the starter. These wires are touching chassis, or ground. Try removing and emplace it again, making sure the wires are not touching GND. If problem persists, then the problem might be in the switch, ergo, requiring further inspection of the electrical system, including the wiring. Also check the fuses and make sure they are not blown. If replaced and still blowing, is a critical shortage, and the risk of an electrical fire will become imminent. Let me know how things go. Good luck.
