I have a 1998 Buick Lasabre 4 door with a leak somewhere. The rear floorboard behind driver seat gets soaking wet when it rains. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Do you have a sun roof, if so start there, because there are two hoses at the back corners of the roof pan that allow water to drain, if they leak, they will soak the rear floorboards, and if not that check the door jam seals.(note that if the plugs on the floor are missing that will be verry hard not to have wet carpet)........let me know?

No, thankfully no rust anywhere on my 98 Buick LaSabre.

My 98 Buick LaSabre doesn't have a sunroof. The vehicle was my
deceased mother's who kept it in a garage most of the time. I haven't driven it on a rainy day yet to see how water is coming in, but will check for leaks around the window gasket and let you know.
Water collects in rear passenger seat...opened a plug under the car and even more water poured out. Still no clue where it is coming from. Tried messing with the cabin air filter area. Does anyone have pictures of what a 98 Buick Regals Cabin Filter is supposed to look like.
Maybe leaking from back window near the top ,above the rear seat.
oh cause i was just wondering maybe it rusted through the floor boards and you cant see it because its under the carpet... have you looked for leaks around the windows and if you have one, sunroof?
got rust on the car?
we had same issue but in front driver floor so took it into a mechanic--apparently a design flaw where water doesnt drain from windshield wiper area when going down and seeps into metal floor boards rusting them away-what a load of GM trash -windshield wiper area also fills up with leaves like no other car ive owned
