I need help!!!! I have 2001 xterra 6 cyl thats over heating again. Recently i had clutch fan fixed and and flushed out radiator.. However every time i drive it for long distance during the hottest time of the day it starts overheating when i have ac on once i turn it of temp goes back to normal. But today i was driving it with the ac off and it started overheating if i was driving at speeds higher than >70 mph. Also it starts to over heat if im stopped at a light if i have it on park i can leave it on for infinits timd and temp will remain constant!!
You need to replace your upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and replace your water pump, this will take care of your problem
