How do i disable the security light
I had the same problem about 6 mos ago. i googled problem learned some fix problem by turning ignition key to accessory (not on) and wait l5 minutes then start. It worked for me and security light has not been on since. Supposedly this resets security system hope this helps. yb
Same thing happened to me. security light was flashing, Battery good but turn the key and nothing. Turned out to be the ignition cylinder. figure on a repair bill of about 500...

i had the same problem about 6 mos ago. i read on internet to put key in ignition and turn to on (not accessories) and wait for l0 - 15 minutes then start. it worked for me and security light has been off since then - the explanation was it reset the security system. i had googled the problem. hope this helps.
