First check your transmission fluid level improper fluid level is the number one cause of trans failure, you need to check it with the vehicle warmed up, on flat ground, i accidently checked mine while it was tilted in my driveway and i got a false reading on the dipstick. The fluid should have a reddish color too it, if it is light brown, its time to get it serviced, if it is dark brown or black and you can feel gritty particles while rubbin it between your fingers, your transmission is toast.

One of the front wheel bearings are bad. Jack it up and see if one is loose, the noise will usually change if you swerve back and forth while driving. Could also be a rear pinion bearing in the rear axle.

Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. Thanks for choosing FixYA for assistance.
