Hi Robert, I suggest taking the vehicle for a diagnostic scan. It sounds as though the fault reappears after the vehicle reaches operating temperature and therefore could be something to do with the air flow sensor or the management system (But the latter is not likely) Regards John

yes replace the pump and timing belt at the same time. 99 percent of service technicians will tell you the same

You cannot tighten the belt. It is the Tension arm/pulley's job to do so. If the belt is loose, then it either means the belt needs to be replaced, its the wrong belt, its routed wrong, or the tension pulley/arm is bad.

Take that belt off. Go to the parts store and buy a belt for the same engine, but without a/c. That should work for you.

You can Bypass the Compressor By Purchasing a Smaller Belt and Install Leaving the Compressor out of the Install.

Have you had your radiator fan checked ? Does it come on when it's supposed to?

i have a 95 neon.. did the same thing.. replaced the brake handle assembly... got one from auto wreckers... works great now
