After changing the battery on the car the dash lights and turn signals blink as though the emergency switch is energized. Last time it happened I was told that the anti theft switch had to be reset. But, Where is it and what does it look like?
To reset the anti-theft, put key in ignition, turn to on but do not start, you must leave in ON position for exactly 10 minutes, once the light shuts off, immediately start car.
Does your check engine light turn on when the anti-theft is activated? If it does, that is the light I was refering to shutting off after 10 minutes.
If that light wasn't on, then here are some other things I would try:
The anti-theft on the radio... there is a code that came with the car
when you buy it then you need to punch in the code. If you don't have
it the dealership should have it.
take the alam fuse out and start it then wait for a couple minuts to put the fuse back in.
I got that problem recently. Alarm system was triggered when i replaced old battery and install new one. I was not able to start my car. The reason was in aftermarket alarm. It sits between ignition and immobilazer. Solution was to disable that alarm system
