Check to see if you can adjust the sensitivity of the alarm as it may be temperature that is sending it off. If it m is a genuine factory fitted unit then have a talk to the service centre for clues. Also have you considered the possibility that an animal ( cat) is jumping on the bonnet to get warm from the engine heat

If the alarm is for short period, it is just normal for
proximity sensor and vibration sensor types. If this alarm
for long period, then car alarm installation needs to be
checked by the technician installing the alarm. Send us your e-mail comment.

Hello! Lets eliminate a potential cause: There is a Technical Service Bulletin (EL-00198) that addresses key-ring interference with the Transponder Chip in the key...A touchy anti-theft system to say the least...The key-ring should not rest on or come in contact with the key grip area...Do not place any other keys on a ring with the ignition key...Actually, in order to function properly the ignition key needs to be *****...As in nothing on or near the key...I'm not saying this is your fault but it needs to be removed as a potential cause..See additional FYI information below on how to add or delete an ignition key from your vehicle's system...BELOW IS A LINK TO A SITE THAT HAS A BYPASS MODULE FOR YOUR Gs-300....Guru...Saailer The Toyota Electronic Control Module does not have
programming modes without a pre-programmed key. To delete all
but one key from the unit: Add Duplicate Key:

FYI
If there is no key available that

must be replaced.
