Could be something in the key switch I suppose. There is a high speed relay for the blower that gets power directly from the battery, but the other speeds should go thru the fan switch and get power from the key switch.

SOURCE: blower control switch

do have any power on either wire going to the blower. the power runs from the fuse block through a relay, to the blower, to the resistor block and finally to the dash control. of you have power only on one side of the blower replace the blower. if you have no power at the blower replace the relay.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: blower motor resister keeps blowing out. motor

Check the wiring to and from the resistor for insulation defects. Have the blower motor tested, it may be shorted.

SOURCE: Removing the glove compartment & replacing the blower resister.

You do not need to remove the glove box to get to the resistor its located at the very bottom of the dash. Its held in by 1 or 2 screws. If you already bought the replacement look for the same thing underneath, a flashlight helps. Fairly simple, just have some patience. Its close the the blower motor.

SOURCE: 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan heater blower motor not

The Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the glove box on the dash. Remove the whole glove box to access. The Resistor is mounted against/sort of into the fire wall.
1. Disconnect the negative side of battery.
2. Disconnected the Electrical Connection to the Resistor.
3. Remove the bolts/screws. I believe they have 8mm heads, there should be 2 of them.
4. Replace with new one/Replug electrical connection.
5. Reconnect the negative side last.
6. Test System before putting the glove box back in!
The Blower Motor is easy (compared to $1000) to remove and replace.

Blower motor won't shut off on a 2005 chevy monte carlo

Your post is not making sense. If the blower motor wasn't shutting off, how would replacing it cause anything to change? Clearly, there is a problem with the power supply TO the motor. If you want the motor to turn off, you need to check WHY the power to the motor is not cut off when the switch is turned to the off position. Probably a bad switch. Or it could be the blower motor resistor even, albeit a lot less likely.

A/C blower and selector doesn't work, overhead console doesn't work

Sounds like this may be the actual control head that went bad, unfortunately there is no way to test for this other than to replace the control head, if the blower motor relay is good, and all the fuses are good, then that would probably be the most likely problem... hope this helps

No heat, gauge goes up and down. coolant was flushed and changed the thermostat.

Sounds like you still have air in the system. Is there a little bleed valve on top of your thermosatat housing? That is for getting air out. If it doesn't have one: take radiator cap off, turn heater to full hot (not the blower motor, keep that off), start car and let it reach normal operating temperature. When thermostat opens, add coolant as necessary to radiator and to overflow tank. Replace cap on radiator. Good luck.

2001 HYUNDIA SANTE FE BLOWER QUIT WORKING CHECKED FUSES STILL GOOD

If this is the Manual A/C type, there are two common occurances affecting blower operation.
1st, there is intermittent contact in the blower motor brushes. You can check this by locating the blower motor housing under the dash on the Right Hand side (Passenger Side). With the Ignition Key in the "ON" position, blower switch on "HIGH" firmly slap the housing with your hand. If the motor starts working, there's your problem. If it doesn't, rig up a 12 volt test light bulb and back-probe the connector to the blower motor - Does the light bulb turn ON? If so, then the problem is with the blower motor itself. If it DOESN'T turn on, then the problem is elsewhere (blower relay, blower control switch, or wiring to the motor or from the motor to ground.
