1996 ford taurus odometer stopped working

The Speedo in your car is electronic, the problem is the tiny motor that moves the needle is most likely defective, there are no parts for the Speedo available to the consumer from Ford, you must remove the Speedo and have it repaired by a authorized Speedo repair shop. here is a link to a good one I know about.
