Hello everyone, I have a DAF CF 85 and it currently consumes 76 liters/100km. What is the problem as I consider the consumption as too high (32 liter/100km according to the manual).

Get it on a high level, pro grade scan tool and check long term and short term fuel trim.

Make sure all the tires are correctly inflated, no brakes binding and drive light footed.

What is the average distance i can travel with 40l?

Hi Kevin:
That all depends on how many litres of fuel your vehicle consumes and will vary depending on driving conditions, speed, technique, engine condition, and goodness knows what else.

Let's guess and say you're using 10 litres per 100 km.
40 divided by 10 equals 4
4 times 100 equals 400km

What you will need to do is use your rate of fuel consumption with this calculation.

The Lexus Hybrid RX400h seems to be running more of engine now rather then electric power. Used to be when start engine, vehicle can move a distance on battery power before engine kicks in. Now engine...

If the engine is running more often I would be checking the condition of the batteries. The whole idea is to run on the batteries until the voltage becomes too low in which case the engine starts. Take it back to the dealer service department for a diagnosis of the problem.

What is the best mitsubishi lancer 2000 / 1600 cc motor gas consumption ???? last time i checked it was 400 k.m per 41 liter . is it good or it could be better ?!?!?

the factory mileage for fuel should be 7.2 litres per 100km but the fuel consumption will change as the car gets older so its only normal but you could improve on your fuel consumption by tuning the car

hope this helps XD

FUEL CONSUMPTION

The fuel consumption sounds about right for a turbo, perhaps a little high. Hwy consumption depends on how you drive. If you cruise at 100 kph, you should get around 8 L/ 100km. Round town, about 10 L / 100km.
