OBD II 300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

When the misfire monitor detects a misfire, it will trigger the check engine light with the specific cylinder number as the last digit in the P030X code. For instance cylinder 1 misfire is P0301, cylinder 2 is P0302 etc. In this case we have either multiple cylinders misfiring, or the computer simply can't determine the specific cylinder, and as such we are left with the P0300 in computer memory.

Possible Causes:

Fuel injectors, related wiring, sensors and computer issues
Running out of gas, or poor fuel quality
Evaporative emissions system (EVAP) concerns: fuel vapors leaking into engine
Incorrect Fuel Pressure
EGR system concerns: leaking EGR valve or restricted ports
Base engine concerns: low compression, valve train problems and timing issues
Ignition system concerns including, but not limited to:
Faulty spark plugs
Faulty coil or related wiring
Ignition module or related wiring issues
Ignition related sensor faults or wiring issues

The service 4x4 light comes on when I engage 4x4 on a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually 5.9 T D 4 DOOR

Put it in 4x4 mode and get someone to read your OBDii Codes to see what code is popping.. Sounds like a simple 4x4 switch BUT with the service engine light on an OBD reader would be a Great way to find the problem..

My 2001 dodge Dakota is running rough and the check engine light is on.

You'll have to look up the actual procedure to test the coil for code 351. The code means the computer is not able to fire the coil on demand which could be caused by several things, including a faulty computer. It could also be a problem with the wiring between the coil and the computer.

My dodge is a 1996 dodge ram 1500 with a 3.9 v6. my truck runs rough most of the time, i took it to autozone and they said that the check engine light was indicating that the truck was running too lean....

intermittent lean condition may be caused by leaking intake manifold gaskets. Get some carb cleaner and start the truck. Open the hood and spray carb cleaner on the intake manifold gaskets. If the engine reacts at all, you have a gasket leak. If you have questions, please let me know.

1998 DODGE RAM 1500 4x4 360 ENGINE CODE SHOWS MANY MISFIRES THOUGHT WAS BAD GAS HAVE DRAINED AND REPLACED, RUNNING EXTREMELY RICH ON RIGHT SIDE, O2 SENSORS SHOW TO BE WORKING WHAT ELSE CAN I CHECK ON THIS

I had a similar problem with my Dodge truck.I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires and the check engine light went out. Within 4 days the light came back on with codes for multiple misfires..To make a long story short, I put electrical tape on the wires to adjacent cylinders and the problem was solved. Answer; The pluig wires they are making for Dodge are really cheap!

Check engine light , trouble code 34

Your truck is OBD2 compliant take it to a local auto parts store and have them read the code for you they usually do this as a free service, if it doesn't have a obd2 port then your truck is not a 1996 vehicle.

2007 dodge 3500, 5.9 cummins,engine light on, fault code p2146, running rough

It's a code that signify's you have a voltage circuit problem with one or more fuel injectors. When a problem is found with the fuel injector circuit it affects fuel delivery on all the injectors and that is why it is running rough.

Good Luck
