My 1995 Isuzu Rodeo new horn won't work

I noticed when I was hooking up the new horn, it made a sound, but when I finished hooking it up it won't work. Now there is also another horn as well, not sure why there are 2 but whatever. I checked the fuses and what not, and they are good, so why wont it work? Do I need to replace both horns in order for it to work, or what? Please let know. Thank you.

There are 2 horns that have different frequencies so that you get a louder harmonious noise when you activate the horn
now you have blown the fuse or the relay is no longer working
make sure that you have fitted the ground wire correctly

SOURCE: 1995 Isuzu rodeo will not start battery is in good condition

I had the same problem as you. Thought it was starter or battery,,,it was neither. I kid you not, I figure this out for myself and problem solved. I did not have the tailgate window locked and it took at least 30 attempts to start. When I locked the tailgate opener located on the far left of dashboard, never a problem,,,, I pulled out the operator's manual/remote control/vehicle security system manual and to my surprise it confirmed. Here is the exact quote from manual "While armed, the system is triggered when a door or the tailgate window is opened. When triggered, the vehicle's horn sounds, and the exterior and interior lights flash. PERHAPS, MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE VEHICLE'S STARTER IS DISABLED AT THE SAME TIME, PREVENTING ENGINE START!!!" Please let me know if this solves your problem or you already went there..

SOURCE: 1995 buick riviera horn button on airbag does not work

You can work on this safely after you remove the positive battey terminal and wait 5 minutes before working on the horn system. you remove the air bag first there are two security bolts that hold it on you will have to buy these at a parts store. Auto zone sells the Set of Lock out bolt wrenches for removing the bolt. you will also need a steering wheel puller to get to the ignition key cylinder holder that is where the contacts are located. But first I would remove the horn ground out the horn and apply power to the horn to see if it works. Normally it's the horn relay that goes bad.

1995 Buick Riviera Horn starts honking on its own.

the older cars like that have little contacts that touch each other and if they touch the hor blows. the cover needs to be taken off and readjust the contacts. its alot more difficult when there are airbags. so DO NOT attempt if there are airbags in the car. very dangerous

1995 Rodeo has a whine to the transmission, is this normal??

Be Very Careful If your hearing whines from transmission.

On Automatic Could Be Filter, Low ON Transmission Fluid Or Power converter(Pump) Going out.

On Standard Could be low on fluid or worn gears.
