What does it mean when the icon on the dashboard that looks like an upside down horseshoe with an exclamation point in the middle lights up? when i start my car i have the upside down horseshoe with the exclamation point in the middle of it! what does that mean! it will blink first then stay on for awhile and then go away but sooner or later it comes back!

low tire pressure warning lite

I believe the exclamation point inside the lines(which are supposed to be a tire symbol) is a low tire pressure warning indicator. Check all tire pressures, as a drop of just 10% will set the lamp off. It will take up to 5 minutes with the car running for the lamp to shut off after filling tires. Hope this helps.

It should be letting you know that you have a tire pressure problem. If you still have the owners manual read it. It will explain what to do, what to look for and how to reset the light if need be.

You have a low tire. Toyota Solaras and other Toyotas have tire sensor monitors. Go to a gas station and check the air on all of your tires including the spare. Once you get to the recommended pressure, you should be fine.

that means that you need air in one of you tires. you have the TPMS or tire pressure monitor system when your tires are below the ideal pressure it will light the icon in the dash. the way to tell if you have this it to look at the tire stems the place where you put in the air if there silver you do have it. if there black you don't
there should also be a yellow light on the dash that comes on when you turn the key on or start the car that reads "TPMS"
