Lights came on and the dealership replaced the left front sensors. Ten days later, the lights came on again and now the dealer says the right rear sensor is bad. i have 44k miles on the vehicle and I am not happy with this parts malfunctioning already. The first one was replaced by the dealer for free, they want to charge me $300 for the second one. I fix my own cars and I just need to read up on it. How much do the sensors normally cost?
Traction stability light and engine light comes on and engine power degrades. I suspected contaminated fuel for the engine light and poor performance. I let the engine set for 15 monutes and reset the gas cap. The light reset and performance returned; however, the problem has returned. I'm putting some octane boost in the system, but I don't really think it's a gasoline issue. Could a poor cap cause a vapor lock or another issue? Any other suggestions? Thanks!
