If you are getting sound and picture from the screen's auxiliary jacks, then this only confirms that the screen is faulty. The DVD player must be reading the picture signal as it supplying the auxiliary jacks, but the screen has failed to display the signal.
There should be a button on the left hand side of the radio to switch between CD/DVD. Set to DVD and put a film on. Open the TV screen and it should work.
Do you have any check engine lights on? Is your anti-theft light flashing? If so, put key in igniton, turn to on (NOT START) leave in on position for EXACTLY 10 MINUTES As SOON as theft light turns off, try to start.
