I need to service the ac. I need the weight of how much the system holds, and where the low pressure valve is located.
Hello, I see you are trying to charge the ac on you truck ,but this is not a job that just anyone can attempt and get it right. You must add factors in like is there the right amount of oil in system, is there any freon already in the system, or will there need to be a vaccum pulled on the system. If the system is completely out you must pull a vaccum for 30 minutes on the system, or either there will be moisture in the system and that can do alot off damage to an ac system. If you have never charged an ac system please let take it to someone who has. It will save you in the long run and if it is leaking they may find it as well.

you should have a valve on the low pressure side,(where you hook the guage) the specfic amount of freon you need is on the a/c data sticker, should be stuck under hood or on front cross beam under hood, may be on the inner fender well, do you see it there?
