I have a 2000 dodge Durango with the 4.7L engine in it. on my way home it started to shutter and lose power. had a friend put his code reader on it and it came up with error codes p0320,p0353,p0351,p0354,p0356,p0358 in that order. he cleared the codes and now it is running fine again. Do I have a sensor going bad? I also replaced the cam sensor earlier this year.

Hi, it sounds to me like voltage to your coils is low. Unfortunately, I do not have a wiring diagram for your car. I suggest you use a voltmeter to check the voltage at the coils with the key on. If you can do this and report the voltage back, maybe another FixYa expert with a wiring diagram or firsthand knowledge can help you with this problem. In any case, please respond to this solution so that the question can be released back to the FixYa team at large.

Kevin, can you give me a little more to work with? I would like year, make and model of your vehicle along with any other symtoms you may have experienced. Please get back to me with this information, and don't start replacing parts that you may not need. Waiting on your response.

My 1998 dodge durango slt wont drive past 40 miles an hour

Hello Jeff Winner,

Over the last 20 years ... cars have has a LIMITED OPERATION FEATURE added... When the engine READS something that is not IMMEDIATELY catastrophic... it will allow you to
LIMP home... rather than a complete shut down.

Limp mode:
You SHOULD also have a CHECK ENGINE light... (?)

My best advice is to limp on down to your near-by FREE code reading shop... and have a READER tell you what CODES are registered...

A blocked exhaust system will also seriously SLOW your progress
((soon to stop all-together)).

Hope this helps

Check you exhaust prices BEFORE you go...!!

What is the possible damage to a 2000 dodge durango after driving it for about 2 miles after getting a gauge light due to a busted coolant pressure cap

Did the engine boil over before you came to a stop? and did you let it cool on its own before putting cool water into it? If It didn't run dry and ou didn't hit or fill it with cold water, I may not have damaged anything. If yit did and you did, then a head gasket could result if not a cracked head.Sorry. hHope for the best.

Hoe do I reset the security light on a 2000 Dodge Durango

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON DUE TO A CODE THAT WAS THROWN, JUST RESETTING THE LIGHT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING CAUSE THE CODE STILL REMAINS THERE, YOU WOULD NEED AN OBD2 READER TO SEE WHAT THE CODE IS THAT IS COMING UP AND TO RESET IT. IF YOU DONT FIX WHAT IS THROWING THE CODE THE LIGHT WILL NEVER GO OUT.
