CD player won't work

My gmc sierra cd player won't play a cd or eject a cd. If i put in a CD it says "check disk". If I push eject it makes a clicking noise.

I think that is exactly the same problem that I have on my 2004 Denali. There are actually 2 discs inserted in the nav system. The CD will actually play, but when you try to eject< it just makes a clicking sound. How did you remove the CD's?

It may have another stuck CD inside. or something else. Especially if there are kids around. I removed 2 CD's from a stereo which had the same problem.

2005 MALIBU WON'T EJECT CD

Your best bet is to take the Cd player to a car audio store. Refrain from trying to stick anything else inside the CD slot because this can have long term effects while your eject problem may be something simple and temporary but can't be solved without being there. I might also suggest getting aftermarket stereos..they simply tend to have less problems I find!!!

Cd not ajection

Welcome to the world of gm delco radios. I am a used car dealer in Canada and I deal mostly in trucks and suv's. Honestly I'd say 75% of the radios in Gm's don't work properly, the loading mechanism gets jammed when you try to eject and "check CD" appears. Unfortunately it's not the CD, and to save yourself any further heartbreak, rip the player out and get yourself a good quality Kenwood or the likes.

Car stereo wont accept disk (motor doesnt pull it in)

you are correct it is not "seeing" the disk with it's infared sensor to repair this sensor you must disassemble the radio

The cd player will not play cd or eject cd

You need to get a engine diagnostics check sounds like you had a blip somewhere on the system that has caused your radio to do this
