Just two months ago we bought our daughter a 2009 Honda Civic. This last weekend someone back into it in the grocery store parking lot leaving the rear bumper cover broken and the driver's side rear tail light assembly pushed in. There does not appear to be any other damage to the structure or metal on the car.
Can someone tell me how to replace the rear bumper cover? I have done some surfing of the net and can't seem to find any information on how to do this.

Should look for the bumper shocks and remove which ever is easiest, remove bumper then remove cover , replace cover and reinstall bumper, watch out for wires and clips might hold cover to side plastic.

youll have to pull up very firmly or it may have to slide to the side its held in place by a bodyfastener. a screw that fits into a slot. but i would try pulling up first.
