P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted
Code P1495 is for the LDP solenoid circuit. (LDP-Leak Detection Pump). This is a system that seals off the evaporative system of the car and then pressurizes it with the LDP. The computer looks to see how long it takes to pressurize the system, (depending on fuel level) and then determines if the system is leaking. Emissions regulations require this to cut down on fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere. You will likely have to get a dealer to diagnose this, unless you can find a shop that has a manual and DRB scan tool.

2001 dodge neon leaking water from water pump i was driving n it felt like my car went into neutral n engine lite came on n it died it will turn over but won't start what do i check

well to me it seems like you have either a intake manifold leaking or head gasket leaking also which is causing coolant to go into motor.check the oil and see if it looks milky or overfull.

Po420 code on an 2001 dodge neon

The code means the catalytic converter is not functioning as it should, sometimes because the engine is not reaching operating temp, and sometimes because of a fuel problem.
You may need to hook it up to a scanner and watch the sensor readings to diagnose the problem.

The car misses or heastes when driving slow

Do you have a check engine lite? If so get the code so you can find the cylinder at fault. Any auto zone will do it for free. It will be a 300 code like 301 for #1 cylinder. Also check for vacuum leak or a hissing sound. If you have a lean code in it, then a dirty maf senor or maybe a plugged fuel filter. I recently purchased 04 Dodge Neon SXT automatic transmission and now the check engine lite is on and the transmission will not shift past 40mph but will go to 60mph is the transmission toast

Its probably just a shift solonoid. Have the computer scanned for trouble codes at your local auto parts store and bring the codes back here so we can help you determine whats going on with it.

I have a 2001 dodge neon that has this code obd11 what is it

code 11 means intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor. check connections to both sensors. also look for any damage to the wires connected to each sensor. either sensor will set off a signal to pcm of a no crank referance signal detected during engine cranking.

1997 dodge caravan p 1495 code

if I am not mistaken that is the code for the engine temp sensor, it kind of works as a choke, it tell the computer the ngine temp so it can lean out the fuel mix. I think the code says engine is taking too long to warm up. A faulty sensor will read -40 C all the time
