The ''Service engine soon'' light has come on and has stayed on. Just got the car and all fluids were replaced with new. There's 89,500 miles on the car. Is there such a thing as a 90,000 mile check up? Can't find any remedies in my service manual. Thanks
The service engine soon light means a fault has occurred in the engine or emission system's electronic controls, it has nothing to do with any service you did in most cases, there are over 150 problems that turn the light on, to find out what the problem may be go to any Kragen Auto or Autozone parts store and ask them to run a OBD 2 trouble code test, IT IS FREE. then post the code back here for us to look at, which is also FREE.

If its on the drivers side of the car close to the front check the transmission oil cooler lines. Especially if the fluid is redish in color. You will see them if you look up under the vehicle on the drivers side. There will be to black hoses running between the transmission and the radiator. If they are wet/dripping you found the leak.
